About his Career

Dr. Jin obtained his professional doctorate in Oriental Medicine from the Virginia University of Integrative Medicine. He has been practicing Traditional Chinese Medicine since 2015. He is certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) and licensed in the states of Virginia and Maryland.

Guanhu Yang

Prof. Guanhu Yang is an internationally recognized expert in Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) with over 40 years of clinical, academic, and research experience in China, Japan, and the United States. He holds medical and master’s degrees in TCM from Zhejiang and Nanjing Universities of Chinese Medicine, and a Ph.D. in Biology from Kanazawa Medical University in Japan. His career spans clinical practice, teaching, and advanced research, including postdoctoral studies in pulmonary biology at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital.

As founder of the Acupuncture Wellness Center of Cincinnati and Mason, Prof. Yang specializes in complex internal medicine, pain management, and integrative approaches for chronic illness. He serves as Clinical Professor at Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine and doctoral advisor at leading institutions worldwide.

A prolific author of over 200 peer-reviewed papers and 20 books, he also holds leadership roles in the World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies. Dedicated to bridging Eastern and Western medicine, Prof. Yang continues to advance holistic, evidence-informed patient care globally.
